Deveroes' finest strut their stuff

The Deveroes Summer Basketball League semifinals today at Oak Hills High School will showcase four players coming off great quarterfinal performances.
At noon, top seed Maaco-Blue Ash, for which Xavier's Lionel Chalmers scored 28 points Thursday, will face No. 4 seed Stan Litz Law Office, which got 40 points Thursday from Dayton's Keith Waleskowski. Maaco also features UD's Yuanta Holland and former Holmes/Western Kentucky standout Jack Jennings; Stan Litz also features Joel Cornette (St. Xavier, Butler) and Nick Monserez (Moeller, Lehigh).
At 1 p.m., second-seeded Cintas, led Thursday by Xavier junior Romain Sato's 32 points, faces sixth-seeded Stratus Group and Withrow/Ohio University star Brandon Hunter, who had 24 points in the quarters. Cintas also features brothers Seth and Cain Doliboa (Springboro/Wright State) and UD's Brooks Hall; Stratus' team includes Erik Daniels (Princeton/Kentucky).
Sunday's finals start at 7 p.m.
