Congrats
Ohio scholarship: Diana Huntress, a national merit scholarship winner, has also been awarded an Ohio Academic Scholarship from the Ohio Board of Regents. She will attend Oberlin College in the fall to study psychology.
The Seven Hills Upper School graduate is the daughter of Linda and Gordon Huntress of Mount Lookout.
XU dean's list: Brian Buschmiller was named to the spring semester dean's list, with a 4.0 grade point average, at Xavier University's Williams College of Business.
The St. Xavier High School graduate is the son of Pat and Ray Buschmiller of Green Township.
Honors grad: Kathleen Fuller, age 58, of Westwood, has graduated summa cum laude with an associate's degree in technical writing and editing technology from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
Collegiate scholar: Kimberly Root, a student at Montana State University, Bozeman, has accepted membership into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
The New Richmond High School graduate is the daughter of Esther and Dan Root of New Richmond.
Youth leaders: Brooke Ivey of Hyde Park and Joy Miller of Finneytown participated in the National Youth Leadership Forum, on Medicine.
The Forum is a career development program for high school students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential and an interest in medicine.
UC dean's list: Communications major Melissa Gallagher was named to the fall, winter, and spring quarter dean's lists at the University of Cincinnati.
The Lakota West High School graduate is the daughter of Linda and Steve Gallagher of West Chester Township.
