Boys sought for apartment fire
The Cincinnati Enquirer
A Walnut Hills apartment fire that authorities believe was started Saturday evening by two boys displaced two families.
Witnesses saw two boys set an abandoned couch on fire at 7:49 p.m. in back of the three-story building at 1117 Myrtle Ave., said District 4 Chief Dave Collini of the Cincinnati Fire Department.
No one was injured, but the fire caused about $15,000 in damage, he said. An aerial fire truck also was damaged when it struck high-tension wires, he said.
The American Red Cross assisted the two families displaced by the fire, Mr. Collini said.
Police were still seeking the two suspects.
