Seafood Festival winds up today
Seafood lovers flocked to both sides of the Ohio River on Saturday for the second day of the Great Inland Seafood Festival. The festival concludes noon-10 p.m. today.
This is first time that the festival, in its 16th year, has served patrons in both Cincinnati's Yeatman's Cove and Newport's Riverboat Row. A 200-person riverboat shuttled diners between locations.
Last year, the festival moved to Kentucky after Newport officials charged event organizers no rent. This year's crowds are expected to exceed last year's estimated attendance of 175,000.
