Mother, 2 children injured in collision

TURTLECREEK TWP. A 38- year-old Lebanon woman and her two young children were injured Tuesday in a head-on collision on Ohio 48 in Warren County.
Lois Hedges was in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton late Tuesday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said . Her two children, Erin, 9, and
Zach, 11, were in fair condition at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Dayton.
The crash occurred at 2:02 p.m. on Ohio 48 north of Miller Road, the highway patrol said. A Chevy Astro van operated by Mrs. Hedges was traveling south when it went left of center and struck a northbound dump truck.
The driver of the dump truck, Egbert Owens, 71 , of Morrow, was treated at Bethesda Warren County Hospital and released.
