Driver charged with striking 3 people
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP - A 20-year-old man was arrested Saturday night and charged with deliberately hitting three people with his car in Colerain Township, then fleeing the scene, according to an arrest report.
Chad A. Wiesman, of the 11000 block of Blackhawk Circle in Colerain Township, faces three counts of felonious assault and one count each of reckless operation on private property and leaving the scene of an accident, records show.
He is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center and will appear in court today.
Mr. Wiesman was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday after allegedly hitting and injuring an 18-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys at 9:54 p.m. in the 2700 block of Struble Road with his 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass, sheriff's deputies said.
All three refused to go to the hospital, according to a Hamilton County dispatcher.
Mr. Wiesman fled in his car, police said, but was pulled over a short time later on Kemper Road by Springfield Township police.
