LEBANON — A 65-year-old Morrow man was indicted Monday on charges of molesting two young girls his wife baby-sat.

Sonia Lee Laseur faces charges of attempted rape, rape and gross sexual imposition involving girls age 9 and 10.

Warren County Prosecutor Tim Oliver said the alleged incidents, which occurred last summer in the 200 block of Pike Street, came to light recently when one of the girls told her mother.

Morrow police arrested Mr. Laseur on June 27 after he was accused of touching one of the girls inappropriately and preventing her from calling her mother by holding her in a locked room.

Documents filed in Warren County Court by Officer Heath Kilburn also allege that Mr. Laseur was stalking the other girl and “has threatened to shoot those who tell on him.”

He is being held in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.

In another grand jury indictment, a 74-year-old former janitor at Dunlavy Elementary School in Lebanon was charged with gross sexual imposition.

Mr. Oliver said that Dalton Kaufman, of the 700 block of Old Ohio 122, had nonconsensual sexual contact with a female co-worker under age 20 on June 27.

The woman, who was a summer employee, reported the allegations to school authorities. Mr. Kaufman resigned from his job, Mr. Oliver said.
