Clinton Co. woman likely victim of West Nile virus

        WILMINGTON — An 80-year-old Clinton County woman who died Wednesday is being listed as a probable victim of the West Nile Virus.

        “It's a probable case,” Dana Dunn, spokesman for Clinton Memorial Hospital, said Wednesday night.

        The patient was admitted to the hospital's emergency room Aug. 21 and was tested for the virus Saturday, Mr. Dunn said.

        The test results were sent to the Ohio Department of Health, which listed the death as probably West Nile virus death Wednesday, he said.
