Firefighter charged with assault on son
A Cincinnati firefighter was charged Monday with felonious assault against his 12-year-old son.
According to police records, Keith Griffin, 34, of the 4800 block of Reading Road in Bond Hill, surrendered Monday to Cincinnati Police in District 4. He is accused of striking his 12-year-old son in the face with an electrical cord.
Mr. Griffin, who will be arraigned today, was jailed in the Hamilton County Justice Center Monday afternoon. A judge set his bond at $1,000 and issued a protection order.
