Man stabbed in fair condition
A 19-year-old Loveland man was in fair condition Monday after being stabbed several times during a fight between two groups.
Brandon Minton was injured about 11 p.m. Sunday along Hanna Avenue in Loveland. He was airlifted to University Hospital and underwent surgery, officials said.
Eric Cox, 20, of Kings Mills, was arrested Monday by Norwood police who say they found him hiding in an apartment in that area. He is charged with felonious assault.
Mr. Cox is accused of stabbing Mr. Minton and then fled in a vehicle containing two other men. Shots were fired from the vehicle as its occupants fled, officials said.
Also arrested was Steve Sanna, 19, who police believe was a passenger in the fleeing vehicle. He is charged with tampering with evidence.
The third occupant of the fleeing vehicle, a 20-year-old Loveland man, has yet to be charged, officials said.
