Seven teens hurt in crash

By The Cincinnati Enquirer

RED LION — Seven teenagers were injured Friday night when the 1998 Ford Explorer they were riding in crashed off State Route 741, about a half-mile north of State Route 122 in Warren County.

All of the teenagers were riding in the same vehicle. Four of the teenagers were air lifted to Miami Valley Hospital.

Josh Ogelsby, 15, and Angela Blevins, 17, were both in critical condition and in surgery late Friday night.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office did not know where either of the teenagers are from.

Also air-lifted from the crash were Lauren Wiercinsky, 16, of Springboro, who was in serious condition, along with her 13-year-old÷ brother, Adam, also was in critical condition. Three other teens were taken to Middletown Regional Hospital: Wick Makse, 15, of Lebanon, who was in fair condition; Eddie Deaton, of Red Lion, 15, whose condition was unclear Friday night because he was still being treated; and Molly Wilson, of Springboro, who was in serious condition.

Deputies did not know Ms. Wilson's age, or who was driving the Explorer.

A sheriff's office spokesman said excessive speed was thought to be the cause of the one-vehicle crash.
