Wilmington cruises past Mount St. Joe 45-20

Jeff Bean threw five touchdown passes and ran for another as Wilmington beat Mount St. Joseph 45-20 on Saturday.
Bean threw two TD passes to Dean Short, including a 76-yard pass in the fourth quarter for Wilmington (1-0). He also threw 8-yard TD passes to Mitchell Westcamp and Will Isaac and a 3-yard scoring pass to Damien Ivory.
Bean finished 17 of 25 for 273 yards. He ran for 45 yards on nine carries, including a 16-yard score in the second quarter.
Mike Dane threw three touchdown passes for Mount St. Joseph (0-1), including scoring passes of 11 and 36 yards to Andy Wellendorf. He also threw a 15-yard TD pass to Brandon Elliott.
Dane finished 22 of 40 for 207 yards and an interception.
Thomas More 25, Muskingum 6
NEW CONCORD, Ohio - Justin Frisk ran for 158 yards and Rufus Wilkins had 111 yards rushing and two touchdowns, leading Thomas More.
Wilkins scored on runs of 4 and 54 yards in the first quarter as the Saints took a 13-3 lead. Matt Newton returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter to make it 19-3.
Frisk and Wilkins accounted for 269 of Thomas More's 296 yards rushing. Scott Garver completed 12 of 19 passes for 114 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Saints.
Dayton 39, St. Francis, Pa. 0
LORETTO, Pa. - Mark Kasmer returned two interceptions for touchdowns for Dayton.
Kasmer returned a Nate Coughlin pass 53 yards with 4:53 left in the first half to give the Flyers (1-0) a 13-0 lead. He returned the second interception for 32 yards for a score 51 seconds into third quarter.
Coughlin threw four interceptions for St. Francis (0-1) and completed just 11 of 34 passes for 110 yards. Derek Border went 2-for-12 for 13 yards in relief.
Mount Union 44, Whitewater 21
WHITEWATER, Wis. - Rob Adamson threw for 348 yards and three touchdowns to lead Mount Union.
Dan Pugh rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a 16-yard TD pass as the Purple Raiders, the defending national champions in Division III, won their 29th straight game.
Nic Sirianni added four catches for 110 yards and two TDs for Mount Union.
Chad Wurth had 117 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Warhawks. Sean Erner added five receptions for 75 yards and two scores.
After Wurth scored on a 17-yard run late in the first quarter to pull Wisconsin-Whitewater within 9-7, Sirianni caught TD passes of 54 and 32 yards from Adamson to give Mount Union a 23-7 lead.
Erner caught a 14-yard TD pass from Reggie Stauss late in the second quarter to make it 23-14.
