Deaths investigated as murder-suicide
FALMOUTH - An autopsy performed Sunday confirmed that two Falmouth residents found dead in a Butts Lane home Saturday died as the result of gunshot wounds, Kentucky State Police said.
Family members discovered the bodies of Timothy Butts, 39, of the 100 block of Butts Lane, and Deborah Askin 34, of the 800 block of Main Street, at Mr. Butts' residence Saturday about 11:30 a.m.
State police and preliminary examination of evidence at the scene indicates that no one else was involved in the deaths. They are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide. No other details were available Sunday.
