Air Force medics train at University Hospital
The first class of Air Force medical personnel began training Monday at University Hospital to hone their skills at treating battlefield casualties.
The class of seven, including a doctor, four nurses and two respiratory therapists, will spend two weeks working in trauma care here as part of the Cincinnati Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills.
The program, announced last year, became the third of its kind nationwide. The program will train personnel to work in critical care air transport teams and mobile field surgical teams.
