Park Hills becomes fall garden spot

        PARK HILLS - The Park Hills Avant Gardeners are sponsoring a self-guided Fall Home and Garden Tour from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 5.The tour will feature seven homes and gardens. Registration will be in Trolley Park. The cost, including a box lunch, is $19.50 per person if paid in advance. Without the box lunch is $12. Tickets cost and $15 the day of the event.

        From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., a Scare Crow box lunch will be offered and the Busy Bees Junior Gardeners will sell bottled water.

        Parking will be available at the Faith Christian Church parking lot, 1101 Amsterdam Rd., after 1 p.m. Off-street parking also is available in designated areas, and restrooms are available at the city building on Amsterdam Road.
