Xpect name to get Cintas tag
Xpect, the 5-year-old first-aid products division of Cintas Corp., is undergoing a name change, but the Xpect name won't disappear entirely.
The Mason-based uniform supplier is changing the name of the Xpect division to Cintas First Aid and Safety.
The unit provides first-aid supplies and safety equipment to businesses using delivery route drivers..
The new name is being rolled out on all the division's delivery trucks which operate in about 50 of the 270 markets that Cintas serves nationally.
A spokeswoman said the name change was aimed at better leveraging the Cintas name.
The Xpect name will still be used on the various first-aid supplies and products the division markets.
Cintas First Aid and Safety represents about 5 percent of the company's $2.3 billion in revenues.
