Cops cite alcohol sales to minors
By The Cincinnati Enquirer
HAMILTON City police are cracking down on stores and bars that sell alcohol to minors.
On Friday, police cited clerks at Minnick's Drive-thru, 1880 Grand Blvd., and the Laurel Avenue Drive-thru, 901 Laurel Ave.
They were cited on charges of selling alcohol to an underage person, a misdemeanor, police officers said.
Approximately a dozen bars and drive-through locations were targeted, officials said.
The drive-throughs' clerks, whose names were not released, face between $500 to $1,000 in fines if convicted.
