Drugs, cash found in home after man shot

By The Cincinnati Enquirer

A Pleasant Ridge man was in stable condition Saturday at University Hospital, recovering from four gunshot wounds that he received in his home because of suspected drug activity, Cincinnati police officers said.

According to police, three black men entered the home of Aaron Hill, 32, of the 6100 block of Grand Vista Avenue at 1:43 a.m., demanding money. When Mr. Hill refused to hand over the cash, they began shooting him.

They had escaped when Mr. Hill was transported to the hospital.

Police officers later found $8,000 in cash and $2,000 worth of crack cocaine in Mr. Hill's residence.

He most likely will face drug charges upon his recovery, police officers said.

No description of the gunmen was given. To leave an anonymous tip, call CrimeStoppers, (513) 352-3040.
