LEBANON - Three people were indicted Monday by a Warren County grand jury on a string of felony and misdemeanor charges in connection with a June auto crash in Mason.
Thomas Fleming, 19, of Blue Ash; Angela Brownstead, 20, of Milford; and James R. Hendrixson, 21, of West Chester are charged with felony aggravated vehicular assault, felonious assault and a misdemeanor charge of aggravated menacing.
Warren County Prosecutor Tim Oliver said the three were in a car in Mason June 24 when they pulled up next to another vehicle carrying four juveniles. Mr. Fleming and Mr. Hendrixson allegedly got out of the car and began threatening the juveniles, Mr. Oliver said. Ms. Brownstead was the driver.
The three then allegedly started chasing the juveniles' car, which crashed. One of the juveniles was seriously injured and required plastic surgery, officials said. The two groups did not know each other, Mr. Oliver said.
In other indictments:
A Miamisburg man was indicted on theft and six counts of forgery, all felonies. Paul E. Clark, 41, is accused of stealing checks from a relative and then passing six of the checks at Lebanon Raceway. The passed checks totaled just over $2,000, Mr. Oliver said.
Another Miamisburg man was indicted on possession of heroin, a felony. James R. Wilson, 31, allegedly had a block of heroin weighing 125.65 grams when he was arrested at a Middletown hotel Aug. 7, Mr. Oliver said.
