        Staying in

        TV pick: Live, from New York, it's the 28th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, with host Matt Damon and a live performance by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (11:30 p.m., Channels 5, 22).

        Critic John Kiesewetter also says on Trading Spaces, Pennsylvania (8 p.m., Learning Channel) and New York (9 p.m.) neighbors decorate each other's homes.

        Mona Lisa: Don't know for sure, but we're guessing old Mr. Leonardo da Vinci is rolling in his grave right about now. Mona redone in toast? Pasta? As Muppet Mona Pigga?
