Death investigation continues in Norwood

NORWOOD - Police continued their investigation Saturday of an apparent homicide of a Cleneay Avenue resident while declining to discuss the case because of difficulties in notifying family members.

The death, which occurred late Friday evening, involved the killing of an unidentified male resident, who lived alone in a duplex in the 1900 block of Cleneay Avenue, according to neighbors.

While Norwood Police have not released any details of the killing, friend and former neighbor Mandy Centers said she heard that the victim was beaten to death.

She said the victim had lived at the apartment for at least 20 years and had few, if any, relatives in Greater Cincinnati.
