KENTON COUNTY - Police are searching for an armed suspect who fired several shots when he carjacked a vehicle in Latonia Lakes Park about 4 a.m. Sunday.

        The thief brandished a handgun in the Lakeview Drive park, fired multiple rounds and demanded the Jeep Grand Cherokee from owner, Joey Green of Latonia, who was sitting in the vehicle with two juveniles, police said.

        No one was injured. The vehicle was later recovered.

        The suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 20, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 160 to 180 pounds, with short brown hair and a goatee, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
