Greg Hewitt stopped 23 shots and Mike Henderson scored for the Cincinnati Cyclones, but it wasn't enough as the Cyclones dropped their home opener to the Peoria Rivermen 2-1 in U.S. Bank Arena. Mike Henderson took a wrist shot from the top of the left circle over Alfie Michaud's shoulder as the Cyclones tied the game, 1-1. "It was a hard-fought contest," coach Malcolm Cameron said.
