Dane TD passes boost Lions

Mike Dane threw four touchdown passes, and Pat McAtee scored on a safety with 3:22 left to play to lead Mount St. Joseph to a 37-35 victory over Bluffton.
Bluffton (2-5, 0-3 Heartland Conference) was leading Mount St. Joseph (5-2, 4-0) with a score of 35-21 with 14:56 left in the game after Brad Moore scored on a 2-yard run.
Dane then scored on a 10-yard touchdown pass to Andy Wellendorf with 6:07 remaining and completed a 40-yard pass to Wellendorf at the 4:25 mark to tie the game at 35.
McAtee sacked Moore inside the end zone to give MSJ its 2-point victory.
Dayton 35, Tiffin 20 TIFFIN, Ohio - Kelly Spiker ran for a touchdown and threw for another as Dayton beat Tiffin 35-20 Saturday.
Spiker completed 10-of-18 passes for 134 yards, including a 48-yard touchdown pass to Ben Winters to put the Flyers up 35-20 with 8:03 remaining in the fourth.
Spiker gained 112 yards on 15 carries. His 20-yard touchdown run gave Dayton (7-1) a 21-14 lead in the second.
Dayton also got touchdown runs of 19 and 3 yards by Cliff Sachini and Brian Heigman ran back an interception 70 yards for a touchdown.
Tiffin (1-6) took a 14-0 lead in the first on Earl Haynes' 1-yard touchdown run and Nate Washington's 65-yard touchdown reception. Washington caught 13 passes for 207 yards.
Ben Sandrock made field goals of 19 yards and 29 yards for the Dragons. Ryan Harpold completed 34-of-52 passes for 391 yards for Tiffin.
Tiffin outgained Dayton 456 yards to 313 yards.
Marietta 32, Wilmington 31 MARIETTA, Ohio - Steven Wagner rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns and threw the game-winning TD pass.
The Quakers (2-5, 1-5 Ohio Conference) took a 31-19 lead on Will Isaac's 4-yard run with about eight minutes to play, but Wagner rushed for a 13-yard touchdown with 6:19 to play and threw a 12-yard halfback pass to Brian Haines with 1:14 to go. Wagner also rushed for a 10-yard touchdown for the Pioneers (2-5, 1-5 OAC).
Damien Ivory rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown and threw for 148 yards and a touchdown for Wilmington. Isaac rushed for 107 yards. Justin Papania finished 18-of-26 for 221 yards and two touchdowns for Marietta.
Georgetown 40, Belhaven 7JACKSON, Miss. - Nate Green returned two of his four interceptions for touchdowns as two-time NAIA national champion Georgetown extended its Mid-South Conference winning streak to 30 games.
Nick Ayers had three short touchdown runs for the Tigers (6-1, 6-0). The two-time defending NAIA national champions held Belhaven's wide-open offense to 149 total yards and no touchdowns.
Wooster 49, Earlham 20
Jeff Spraggins finished 11-of-17 for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Spraggins threw touchdowns of 39 yards to Tim Slovensky, 11 yards to Matt Ralls and 13 yards to Mike Malone.
Darian Story led the Quakers (2-5, 2-2 NCAC) with 152 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Story scored on a 9-yard run in the second quarter and a 75-yard run in the third.
