Man identified as robber
WYOMING - Police arrested a 48-year-old Wyoming man about two hours after he allegedly robbed a convenience store Friday evening.
Richard Edward Acomb of 6654 Charann Lane is charged with robbery and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
The Kwik 'N Kold at 1511 Springfield Pike was robbed at 9:47 p.m. by a man wearing a brown baseball cap, checkered blazer and green pants. The robber said he was armed, but did not show a weapon. The two clerks in the store were locked in a restroom.
A customer saw the robber leave out the back door of the business, get into a red Isuzu Trooper and drive off going west on Charlotte Avenue. Wyoming Police spotted a sport utility vehicle matching the description at 11:33 p.m. Mr. Acomb, who was driving the vehicle, was later identified by store clerks from a lineup.
