Jeff Langley has been named regional business director, process chemicals at Cognis. Mr. Langley will oversee Cognis' process chemicals business unit in North America. He is an 18-year veteran of Cognis, formerly Henkel. He graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in textile chemistry and a doctorate in polymer and textile science.

John Hiller has joined Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc., a regional full-service brokerage and investment banking firm, as investment executive in the Cincinnati office.

Russ Uckotter, a real estate sales and office manager with Comey & Shepherd Realtors for 24 years, is now a full time sales associate in the Montgomery office.

Cynthia Cordell has been named recruiting manager in the group's home office corporate employee relations department of the member companies of Ohio Casualty Group.

Matthew (Matt) Blankenship has joined Paul Hemmer Companies as a project manager in the construction division. Mr. Blankenship joins Hemmer with seven years experience from his previous construction positions working with Clayco Construction in St. Louis and for Corporex. He will be responsible for handling a variety of construction projects including industrial, commercial and professional office.

Cheryl McElroy has been named assistant director of grant services for Xavier University's division of university relations; Tina Meagher has joined Xavier University as coordinator of instructional design; and Eric Sykes has joined strategic information resources as information analyst.

Dan Gilmore has been named chief operations officer of M Corporations Inc.

Michael W. Hensley, executive vice president, Internet for HSR Business to Business, has been appointed treasurer and board member for the Business Marketing Association.

Carolyn Scheidler has joined Spectrum Marketing Support as graphic designer in the creative department; John Fovel to vice president of sales and Allison Miller has been named sales support manager.

Brad Crawford has joined Strata G Communications as proofreader and copy editor. Mr. Crawford will be responsible for proofreading and reviewing copy for ads, brochures, packaging, web sites, and other materials. He will also help to develop and manage the content on Strata-G's Intranet and Internet sites. He received his bachelor's degree in magazine journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

John Bendt has joined Harmon Inc. as national director of business development overseeing sales and operations for the glass services including Cincinnati.

Dr. Juraj Kavecansky has been appointed managing director of MarketVision Research Seminars.

Yogi Wess has been named director of Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, a Cincinnati non-profit organization. Ms. Wess will be responsible for fundraising, staff and programs. She has been involved in various capacities with Little Brothers for 25 years. She started out as an intern with Little Brothers in 1978. In 1989 she moved to Cincinnati to launch the newest Cincinnati chapter of organizations.

Jack Kenkel, president of Victory Mortgage, will serve as chief executive officer of his new endeavor, Victory Community Bank; Jane M. Boerger has been named regional president; Dennis Gillespie, executive vice president and chief operating officer; and David M. Meyer, chief financial officer of Victory Mortgage has been appointed chief financial officer for Victory Community Bank as well.

LaTonia Denise Wright with the law office of LaTonia Denise Wright and The Healthcare Risk Aversion Group, LLC has been appointed to the editorial review board of the Journal of Infusion Nursing.
