200 turkeys donated to charity
Mercy Franciscan at St. John in Over-the-Rhine will receive 200 donated turkeys Tuesday, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Honeysuckle White Turkey is donating the turkeys to the social services agency at 124 E. 13th Street for the holiday.
Elder High School students have volunteered to unload the turkeys.
For the past eight years, Honeysuckle White has donated more than one million pounds of turkey as part of its "More to Share" program to charities nationally.
