GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Mark Popovic scored his first professional goal and added an assist as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks skated to a 2-2 tie with the Grand Rapids Griffins Wednesday. Brendan Yarema also scored for Cincinnati, which is winless in its last four road games (0-2-2-0) and last three overall (0-1-1-1). Jean-Francois Damphousse made 35 saves for the Ducks. He stopped all four shots he faced in the third period and seven in overtime.
