The Cincinnati Enquirer
Cincinnati Mighty Ducks defenseman Chris O'Sullivan is among the recipients of the Most Valuable Player award in an NCAA Tournament now playing in the American Hockey League.
The former Boston University star was 1995 Frozen Four MVP.
The others include North Dakota alumni Lee Goren (AHL Providence) in 2000, Matt Henderson (AHL Norfolk) in 1997, Jim Montgomery (AHL Utah) for Maine in 1993 and Hartford's Ted Donato with Harvard in 1989.
Ducks center Jason Krog, currently on recall with Anaheim, is one of 21 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award - handed out annually to the outstanding player in U.S. collegiate hockey - who have appeared on AHL rosters in 2002-03.
Krog won the 1999 Hobey Baker Award while at New Hampshire.
Others include 2001 recipient Ryan Miller of Rochester and currently in the NHL with Buffalo(Michigan State) and 2000 award winner Mike Mottau of Hartford (Boston College).
Six of last year's Hobey finalists have skated in the AHL this season, including Milwaukee's Darren Haydar, Grand Rapids' Rob Collins, Cleveland's Jim Fahey, Chicago's Mark Hartigan and Houston's Marc Cavosie.
ECHL CYCLONES: Cincinnati announced that home games scheduled for Feb.21 and 22 are being changed at the request of U.S. Bank Arena officials to accommodate a Phish concert.

The Cyclones' game at Toledo today is 3p.m. instead of the originally reported 6p.m. start.
