Driver killed when car flips
CLEARCREEK TWP. - A 40-year-old Dayton man was killed Monday afternoon when his vehicle went off Bunnell Road and struck a ditch in Warren County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol identified the victim as James Gilbert Jr. of Five Oaks Avenue. The victim was northbound on Bunnell Road just north of Ohio 73, when his vehicle went off the left side of the road, struck a ditch, became airborne and flipped several times before coming to rest.
The driver was speeding and not wearing a seat belt, the highway patrol said.
