MASON - Christmas in Mason will run from 6-9 p.m. Friday, complete with a pageant, carriage rides, holiday fireworks and a visit from Santa.
Mayor John McCurley will light the Christmas tree in front of the library at 7 p.m.
One resident will win a live, 5-foot Norway pine during a drawing at the tree committee's booth.
Traffic will be restricted along U.S. 42 between Second Avenue and Mason-Montgomery Road from 5-11 p.m. Parking will be banned along parts of U.S. 42, Church Street and on North and South Forest.
Shuttles will be available from Grace Baptist Church at 5595 Mason Road, and from the municipal center at 6000 Mason-Montgomery Road.
