Police issue warrant for hit-skip driver
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect wanted in a hit-skip crash in the West End early Monday that injured two pedestrians, one critically.
Cincinnati police Wednesday issued an arrest warrant for Joe Wilkins, 23, whose last known address was on Ninann Court in Westwood.
Investigators think Mr. Wilkins was driving in the 2000 block of Central Parkway when his vehicle struck two pedestrians at Linn Street and Mohawk Place, police said. Eric Vinegar, 34, of College Hill, and Evettte Coleman, 30, of Golf Manor, were both struck by the vehicle, which left the scene. Mr. Vinegar was in critical condition Wednesday night at University Hospital. Ms. Coleman was in fair condition at the same hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to call the traffic unit at 352-2514 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
