Princeton chooses its top teacher
Sharonville Elementary School teacher Patrick Bowes of Deer Park was selected as the 2002 Princeton Teacher of the Year and was Princeton Schools' representative for Ohio teacher of the Year.
Music participant
Nathan Smith, a junior at Indian Hill High School, was selected to participate in last summer's Boston University Tanglewood Institute. The program of musical study and performance is recognized internationally.
Nathan, the son of Julia and Franklin Smith Jr. of Indian Hill, has studied the french horn for seven years.

Brandon Klug, a Lakota East High School graduate and son of Richard Klug of West Chester Township; Anthony Williams, a Hamilton High School graduate; Darrell Collins, a Waynesville High School graduate; David DuBois, son of David Jackson of Avondale; Darleen Adkins, graduate of Lakota High School and the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and the daughter of Vera Adkins of West Chester Township.
AP scholars
Students from Archbishop Moeller High School have been named AP Scholars by the College Board, based on their performance on national college-level advanced-placement exams.
Most of the nation's colleges and universities award credit, advanced placement, or both for grades of 3 or higher on a 5-point scale.
David Candy and Richard Nemeth qualified as AP Scholars with Distinction by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
Abhijit Mehta qualified as an AP Scholar with Honor by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more exams.
Michael Hile, Kuang Huang, Chris Imhoff, Thomas Lippman, Steven Peck, David Sclueter, David Tull and Matthew Walker qualified as AP Scholars by completing 3 or more exams with grades of 3 or higher.
