Mother arrested in child endangering

ELMWOOD PLACE - Police arrested an Elmwood Place woman Wednesday after investigating complaints that she had left her young children home alone and in unsanitary conditions.
According to an arrest report, officers entered the residence of Amy Jobe, 24, of the 300 block of Walnut Street after children's services investigators received complaints that her children were in danger and living in unhealthy conditions. Police entered the residence on the recommendation of investigators.
Once inside, police described the residence as uninhabitable and unsanitary and arrested Ms. Jobe, who is unemployed, charging her with five counts of child endangering. She remains in custody at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
