LEBANON - Former Bristol's manager Randy Trimble got an early Christmas present Monday - a ticket out of prison.
Judge P. Daniel Fedders, of Warren County Common Pleas Court, released Mr. Trimble from prison four months early on a conviction of attempting to promote prostitution at the Monroe exotic dance club.
Judge Fedders placed Mr. Trimble on probation for three years and left him with this warning:
"You are not to go into any sort of an establishment like Bristol's."
Mr. Trimble was sentenced to serve a six-month sentence in October after pleading guilty to a reduced charge in an agreement with prosecutors.
The 37-year-old Middletown man was among a group of more than 30 dancers, bartenders and other Bristol's employees arrested on drug, liquor and prostitution offenses at the club off Ohio 63 in March after a five-month undercover investigation.
Mr. Trimble originally was charged with two counts of promoting prostitution. Police said he received bonuses for illegal sexual activity performed by the dancers. Club operator Terry Wolfe disputed that allegation, saying instead that all Bristol's employees received bonuses based on the overall level of business, not illegal activity.
