Tipoff Top 5: Best Venues

The five best venues:

Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke - The Cameron Crazies give Duke a huge home-court advantage. Gothic architecture at least makes losing aesthetically pleasing for the visitors.

Pauley Pavilion, UCLA - The Wizard of Westwood, Lew Alcindor, Bill Walton, the 88-game winning streak. What more needs to be said?

Williams Arena, Minnesota - Built in 1928, The Barn features a raised floor, bleacher seats and a step back in time.

The Pit, New Mexico - Situated 37 feet below sea level, the Lobos are 516-125 since it opened in 1966.

Hinkle Fieldhouse, Butler - Site of the movie Hoosiers, Hinkle resonates with the era of short shorts and high-top canvas sneakers.
