WEST CHESTER TWP. - A satellite office of Drake Center Therapies has opened at University Pointe, the UC Physicians' medical campus.

Butler and Warren County residents now have a closer location to get physical, occupational and speech therapies. The center specializes in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

The Drake opening reflects another step in the expanding University Pointe medical complex. Last week, officials announced plans to build a short-stay surgical hospital and cardiology center in early 2004. Drake Center is affiliated with the University of Cincinnati and receives Hamilton County tax levy support to provide long-term nursing care to needy county residents.
