COVINGTON - The newly elected City Commission has called an organizational meeting for 5:30 p.m. today in the commission chambers, 638 Madison Ave.

Commissioners will consider appointments tpositions including mayor pro-tem and commission chaplain.

They also will consider appointments of city representatives to the Municipal Government League of Northern Kentucky, the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Council, the Northern Kentucky Area Development District board, the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments board of trustees and the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky.

The commission also will consider legislation regarding the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade ruling.
