The family of Paula Phillips, whose skeletal remains were found last week in thick woods off Hillside Avenue in Delhi Township, wants one more "closure": the arrest of the person responsible for her death.

"Somebody knows something," said Ms. Phillips' sister, Lisa Britt of Price Hill. "If someone killed her, that person is still out there and you never know who will be next."

The 24-year-old Camp Washington woman was last seen Feb. 15 after leaving a party in Covedale.

Police do not yet know how Ms. Phillips died. Ms. Britt said the family is anaware of any suspects.

"Paula was a kind-hearted person who would give you anything," Ms. Britt said. "She loved her children and would do anything for them. ... We received a little bit of closure when they identified her body."

Ms. Phillips leaves two small children: Alex, 5, who is staying with another of her mother's sisters, Elizabeth Phillips in Bridgetown; and Stephanie, 1, who is staying with Ms. Phillips' boyfriend, Larry Walling, in Northside.

Carol Phillips, Ms. Phillips' mother, established a reward fund in November for information about her daughter after she disappeared.

"We are also trying to get donations to give her a funeral, and the rest will go toward taking care of the children,'' Ms. Britt said.

Contributions may be made to any Fifth Third Bank branch.

"Two hikers discovered the remains off Rapid Run Road , about 50 feet from Hillside Avenue.

Ms. Phillips is also survived by her father, Arthur Phillips; eight sisters; and three brothers.

Police are urging anyone with information, to call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
