LEBANON - Tackling one of Greater Cincinnati's largest antiques shows takes strategic planning for experienced shoppers like Rick and Lisa Spear.
"We go through the whole show and write down the things we like," said the Lisa Spear, 38, of Indian Hill, who was eyeing some lamps and jewelry Sunday afternoon. "Then we go back and check them out a second time."
Several thousand shoppers attended this weekend's Lebanon Antique Show. The two-day event at Lebanon High School drew about 80 vendors from more than a dozen states who sold everything from china to sleigh beds, quilts and old signs.
The semi-annual event is sponsored by the Warren County Historical Society.
"It's popping," said Sue Hall, the show's manager for about 20 years. ""I've seen people from Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan."
Roughly 2,000 people attended Saturday. She estimated a similar crowd for Sunday. Vendors were reporting "hundreds of thousands" in sales by Sunday afternoon, said Ms. Hall.
The biggest seller: furniture.
"This is the first show in a while that I've seen furniture go like this," she said.
