On TV

Critic's pick: TV critic John Kiesewetter says it's about time you check out one of the best shows you're not watching: WB's Everwood, about a widowed doctor trying to connect with his son (Gregory Smith). Today, the high school students rehearse The King and I. 9 p.m., Channels 64, 26.

The goods

Love stuff: Tired of giving the same old-same old for Valentine's Day? Then wrap up The Tingler ($20), which looks like a spidery garden tool but is a 10-pronged scalp massager that helps ease headaches. Or pick up Love Fingers ($20) to run over a loved one's stressed-out back. Available at www.everythingforlove.com.

Planning ahead

24 hours out: Power rockers Trapt and the up-and-coming Blue Karma rattle the roof beams at Bogart's. 8 p.m. Tuesday, 2621 Vine St., Corryville, $5. 562-4949.

48 hours out: Find out about the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's naturalist trips to The Galapagos, South Africa and Belize. 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Zoo Education Building, 3400 Vine St., Avondale. 281-4700.

72 hours `til Thursday: You decide what price is right for this pay-what-you-can preview of Ovation Theatre Company's musical French farce Triumph of Love. 8 p.m., Fifth Third Bank Theater, Aronoff Center. 241-7469.
