Mighty Ducks 2, Cleveland 1




Nick Smith scored 3:34 into overtime to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 2-1 AHL victory over the Cleveland Barons Wednesday at Cincinnati Gardens.

Smith put a Peter Podhradsky feed past goaltender Vesa Toskala for his first goal in 15 games and second game-winner of the season to help Cincinnati end its three-game skid (0-2-1-0).
