GOSHEN TOWNSHIP - No injuries were reported Thursday after fire destroyed a home at 1823 Old State Route 28. Firefighters were called shortly before noon Thursday and found flames shooting from the windows of the doublewide mobile home, officials said. The occupants were Edward Williamson and his wife, Annette. Mr. Williamson was taking a shower and heard a smoke detector go off.
He found one end of his living room couch engulfed in flames. Damages were estimated at $75,000. The couple were unharmed and have fire insurance, officials said.
