Spring basketball
Cincinnati Recreation Center's registration for adult spring basketball leagues opens today and continues until leagues are filled. The eight-game season begins March 17. Men's and women's leagues will play at gyms throughout the city.
Entry fee: $250 per team, due at time of registration ($50 refunded if no games forfeited). Official's fee of $25 due at beginning of each game.

Cross-country skiing, Cincinnati Parks, weather permitting.
With both flat areas and rolling hills, Ault Park in Mount Lookout, French Park in Amberley Village and Mount Airy Forest are skier-friendly. (Note: Cincinnati Parks does not have ski rentals.) Free. Information: www.cinci-parks.org.
Winter hikes, Cincinnati Parks, weather permitting
The Cincinnati Parks system offers more than 60 miles of hiking trails, including Mount Airy Forest, California Woods, Caldwell Park, LaBoiteaux Woods and Buttercup Valley. Pilates at St. Elizabeth Holistic Health Center, 200 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood , 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
