Miami football caoch Terry Hoeppner signed 16 players, including Ohio Division I offensive player of the year Brandon Murphy from Strongsville, and the Division IV defensive player of the year, Darren Paige from Rossford High School.

"As always, we focused our recruiting efforts in Ohio with a special emphasis on speed," said Hoeppner. "This year, we needed to target our offensive line and all positions on defense."
