Setta sees season winding to a close
The UC women's basketball team's adopted mascot, Lasetta the Cabbage Patch Kid, serves up dirt on the team through her mom, senior point guard K.B. Sharp.
After Sunday's 3p.m. matchup at Louisville, we have only four more games before we jet off to Memphis for the Conference USA Tournament - which we won last year, thanks to my expert cheering.
I was getting a little choked up last week talking to K.B. about senior night, which is Feb.23 against Marquette at Shoemaker Center. Now that I'm 20 and graduating with a bachelor's degree in fun (it's a major mainly involving lots of potato chip eating and video game playing), I think senior night will be pretty emotional.
Be sure to watch us beat Louisville on Time Warner Ch.19 at 3p.m. Sunday.
