The Cincinnati Enquirer
Cincinnati police said the man who robbed the U.S. Bank on West Fourth Street downtown Tuesday afternoon may be the same man who robbed the bank on Feb. 7.
The robber entered the bank at 201 W. Fourth St. at 12:57 p.m.; showed a teller a silver-colored, semiautomatic handgun; and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. The man may have gotten into a white panel van with damage to the right front end.
The Cincinnati Police Department's financial crimes squad is investigating the two robberies.
The robber is described as black, in his late 30s or early 40s, about 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds, possibly balding in the front with a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a black leather jacket, gray wool hat and black sunglasses.
Anyone with information on the bank robbery is asked to call the police department's Criminal Investigation Section at 352-3542, or Crime Stoppers at 352-3040. Anyone providing information that leads to an arrest is eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
