Motel search turns up heroin, loaded handgun
The Cincinnati Enquirer
A police search at a University Heights motel Wednesday night turned up heroin and a loaded handgun.
Cincinnati Police's District 2 Violent Crime Squad arrested Shaun Jones, 22, after finding more than 3.3 grams of heroin in a room at the Days Inn on Central Parkway. He was charged with drug trafficking, drug possession and illegally having a weapon because of a prior criminal conviction.
Officers found about $300, Officer Ryan Hudson said, and materials to package drugs. He said the investigation was continuing.
