Cat show: The Cincinnati Cat Club shows off hundreds of pedigreed and household felines fluffed up for judging, plus stage shows with TV and movie cats and a cat lovers' emporium. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. today, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, West Club Lounge, Paul Brown Stadium, $3-$5. 244-1152.

Top pick: Pop some popcorn and relax with: Dirty Dancing (7 p.m., USA); Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (8 p.m., AMC); The Rookie (8 p.m., Starz); Harrison Ford as The Fugitive (8:30 p.m., Channels 5, 22); or Peter Falk's hilarious Murder By Death (10 p.m., TMC).

• Critic John Kiesewetter also says Jay-Z headlines his first hip-hop TV concert (9 p.m., Showtime), while Destiny's Child, Chaka Khan, Ramiyah and Al Jarreau perform at the 2003 Trumpet Awards (7 p.m., TBS).

Hot tickets

A loud one: Tickets for the aptly named Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003 - a heavy metal whopper starring Metallica, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park - go on sale at 10 a.m. today for its only appearance close to home - 3 p.m. July 19 at Ohio State University's Ohio Stadium. The three headliners will play headline-length sets after a warm-up from Deftones and Mudvayne. Tickets are $78 and $58 at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 562-4949 and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Planning ahead

48 hours out: The Alteractive alternative series at Playhouse in the Park continues with the outrageous gay monologist Tim Miller and Body Blows. 7 p.m. Monday, Rosenthal Plaza, $6-$10. 421-3888.
