Woman killed in single-car crash
UNION - A 62-year-old Union woman was killed Sunday afternoon in single-vehicle crash on Camp Ernest Road.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Dorothy Mahan, of the 9600 block of Camp Ernest Road. According to the sheriff's office, the victim was driving north on Camp Ernest when she went off the right side of the road. When she came back onto the roadway, she lost control and the vehicle slid off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 3:45 p.m.
